Pepper’s character development and writing style just sucked me into this book. Q is a monster with a heart of gold…but is his heart big enough to save Tess from the monster inside of him? Can Tess dig herself out of her own downward spiral? Will anyone survive this emotional abyss? I can’t say much without spoiling this one. Once again Tess is collateral damage in this dark and twisted story of control, love and pain. This was the story is all about the aftermath of what happens when Q and Tess reunite.
